This commercial tenant improvement sought to bring a contemporary feel to the historic building that houses the AIBC.

This multi-phase renovation had complexities in keeping active offices and the Institute operational throughout the project.

The scope saw the gallery space artistically expand, restoring two overhead bulkheads that inconspicuously house lighting and HVAC systems, alongside extensive structural steel work that modernized the space.

Interior finishing, mechanical and lighting upgrades were made throughout additional office workstations and communal meeting spaces.

Flex rooms were introduced with the installation of foldable partition walls and allow the Institute to seamlessly transition from boardroom meetings to classroom discussions.
