Office Manager
Full time

Our OFFICE MANAGER has;

  • A friendly, personable nature – great relationships and a positive company culture and working environment is a priority to you!
  • An assertive, solution-focused attitude – taking ownership of the role with excellent follow through
  • 4 or more years of Office Management or similar experience
  • Intermediate or greater knowledge of Quickbooks is essential
  • Experience in the Construction industry is an asset but not essential

Duties will include;

Administrative and office support responsibilities:

  • Monitoring company email and filtering messages as required
  • Answering phone calls, assisting clients and taking messages
  • Ordering and tracking supplies, and general upkeep of the office space
  • Tracking and maintaining inventory of tools and site supplies
  • Assisting the Principal and other team members with various projects
  • Organising team meetings and events

Accounting responsibilities:

  • Data entry
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Invoicing
  • Pulling AP and AR reports
  • Creating cheques and deposits
  • Bill payments

Miscellaneous tasks for marketing, sales, and operations projects as required

 

This position is full time, with working hours being Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm at our office in Olympic Village.

Lead Carpenter
Full time

Our LEAD CARPENTERS have;

  • 3 or more years of Carpentry experience
  • 1 or more years of Supervisory experience
  • Experience in custom residential or commercial TI construction setting
  • Their own transportation, able to travel to job sites
  • Basic hand tools as a necessity, power tools as an asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical, envelope and finishing systems an asset

As well as the following attributes;

  • Assertive and level-headed, you take charge of your role as part of a team
  • Organised with excellent time and task management, you always follow through with great attention to the details
  • You are invested in ongoing learning and growth, and committed to being part of a collaborative work environment

  • Providing direction and support to Carpenters and Labourers
  • Collaborating with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to achieve excellent standards
  • Carry out all aspects of the construction process, including but not limited to;
    • Demolition, Structural framing, Finishing
    • Read, understand and give direction based off a set of drawings
    • Understanding of both BC Building Code & Vancouver By Laws

 

This position is full time, and health and dental benefits are available at 6 months.

 

TPI has worked on projects from Langley through to Whistler.

We currently have work sites throughout South Surrey, Cloverdale, West Vancouver, North Vancouver and Downtown. A requirement of the position is that you are able to travel to site as needed.

  • 2 or more years of Carpentry experience
  • Experience in custom residential construction and/or commercial tenant improvement settings
  • Their own transportation, ability to travel to job sites throughout the Lower Mainland
  • Basic hand tools as a necessity, power tools as an asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical, envelope and finishing systems an asset

And are also;
