Project Coordinator (Site Supervisor)
Full time

**PLEASE NOTE that this position is only open to those who have:

1) trade or on-site supervisory/coordination experience in custom residential renovation/builds specifically, as well as project coordination (budget, scheduling) experience

2) a valid working visa, residing in BC

Our PROJECT COORDINATOR/SITE SUPERVISOR has;

 

  • Required: 2 or more years of site coordination experience in the Construction industry, specifically in custom residential or commercial tenant improvement projects that include a high level of design detail
  • Required: Experience with construction management and coordination, understanding of project budget and schedule monitoring
  • Required: On the tools experience, in Carpentry or other trade

SITE AND PROJECT COORDINATION DUTIES WILL INCLUDE;

 

  • Consistent assessment of project progress (on-site) and reporting
  • Providing daily coordination and administrative support to Project Managers
  • Providing daily coordination and monitoring of on site work with subtrades
  • Assisting with;
    • Budget and Schedule creation, monitoring and reporting
    • Liaison with TPI staff, project team (consultants and client) and authorities having jurisdiction
    • All site scheduling, logistics and planning
    • Co-ordination, direction and feedback to all subtrades and site staff
    • Ordering and pickup/delivery co-ordination of all materials, supplies and equipment to site

This position is full time and also includes;

  • Comprehensive health, dental and life insurance program offered at 6 months
  • Compensation for work related mileage
  • Laptop

 

We currently have work sites throughout South Surrey, Cloverdale, West Vancouver, North Vancouver and Downtown.

A requirement of the position is that you are able to travel and work out of sites as needed.

 

 

 

Carpenter

Our CARPENTERS have;

  • 2 or more years of Carpentry experience
  • Experience in custom residential construction and/or commercial tenant improvement settings
  • Their own transportation, ability to travel to job sites throughout the Lower Mainland
  • Basic hand tools as a necessity, power tools as an asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical, envelope and finishing systems an asset

 

And are also;

  • Assertive and level-headed, you take charge of your role as part of a team

Duties will include;

  • Work with Junior Carpenters and Labourers to achieve exceptional standards
  • Collaborate with Lead Carpenters and Site Supervisors/Project Managers
  • Carry out all aspects of the construction process, including but not limited to;
    • Demolition, Structural framing, Finishing
    • Read and understand a set of drawings
    • Basic understanding of both BC Building Code & Vancouver By Laws

 

This position is full time, and health and dental benefits are available at 6 months.

 

TPI has worked on projects from Langley through to Whistler.

We currently have work sites throughout South Surrey, Cloverdale, West Vancouver, North Vancouver and Downtown. A requirement of the position is that you are able to travel to site as needed.

    • Site clean up
    • Maintaining a safe work environment at all times

 

 

This position is full time, with 40+ hours a week available.
