Project Manager
Full Time

We offer a positive, forward-thinking work environment centrally located in Olympic Village, with job sites throughout the Lower Mainland and Sea To Sky corridor.

 

Our PROJECT MANAGER has;

 

  • 3 or more years of Construction experience, minimum one year of Project Management experience
  • 3 or more years in a Carpentry background
  • Their own transportation
  • Strong knowledge of Construction Administration
  • Strong knowledge of BC Code and Vancouver by laws
  • Strong knowledge of trade specific technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Planswift and Smartsheets an asset

As well as the following attributes;

 

  • Experience working in residential and commercial construction, preferably for a general contractor
  • Assertive and level-headed, you are an experienced problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Organised with excellent time management, you always follow through

Duties will include;

 

Construction Administration;

  • Budget and Schedule creation, monitoring and reporting
  • Liaison with TPI staff, project team (consultants and client) and authorities having jurisdiction

Supervision;

  • All site scheduling, logistics and planning
  • Co-ordination, direction and feedback to all subtrades and site staff
  • Ordering and delivery co-ordination of all materials, supplies and equipment to site
  • Ensuring the quality of all work performed on site
  • Ensuring on-site practices are safe and efficient
  • Troubleshooting and communicating any escalating issues to the Principal for review

 

This position is full time, with 40+ hours a week available. Job sites can range from Whistler to Langley, with the majority being in Vancouver.

Estimator
Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled individual who is looking for career growth and can contribute constructively to our innovative culture and team.

Our ESTIMATOR has;

  • 1 or more years of Estimating experience, preferably with experience in Custom Residential and Commercial tenant improvement settings
  • Knowledge of Planswift and Smart Sheets an asset

  • Experience working in residential and commercial construction, preferably for a general contractor

  • Create take offs from drawing sets and site visits
  • Apply industry standard costs to take offs

  • 3 or more years of Carpentry experience
  • Experience in custom residential construction setting
  • Their own transportation
  • Basic hand tools as a necessity, power tools as an asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical, envelope and finishing systems an asset

 

As well as the following attributes;

 

  • Assertive and level-headed, you are an experienced problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Organized with excellent time management, you always follow through

  • Read and understand a set of drawings
  • Basic understanding of both BC Building Code & Vancouver By Laws
